    Chow time!

I know that my lousy pictures of a plain ole' normal ball are probably boring compared to some of the fantastic stuff here...but whatever, I'm still psyched about my first snake and taking pictures of everything. This is the second time we fed him, but we switched to pre-killed from F/T for the moment because we couldn't find a local supplier of F/T. He seemed to like the pre-killed better.

It is! I mean heck, I wish I could unhinge my jaw sometimes. It's be really awesome. I always pull up a chair after he's "caught and killed" his mouse to watch him eat. We're about to move him up to small rats, so we don't have to keep feeding him two mice at a time...I've heard that one big prey is better than two small. On the other hand, he didn't even strike at his second mouse today, he took it rather gently. It was almost as if he was saying "Well, yes, I suppose I'll have seconds, thank you." It was pretty cute.

It's not boring at all! I'm still the same way, and probably will be for however long I plan to own BPs... which is probably the rest of my life now. lol

I love watching my little girl gobble up her mice.

    JUST read that. lol

I can't quite... "unhinge" my jaw, but I can dislocate the right side of it. If only I could record the sound and post it on here. I've creeped SO many people out doing that.

    Om nom nom nom!

Don't let anyone hate on your normal. After all, they're the superior phenotype, since they're what survives best in the wild.

Plus, he's frickin gorgeous, and I always love eating pics.
