    Passing it on

I just saw Seven Pounds. Kinda similar to the movie Pay it Forward.

It really got me thinking about things, and made me wonder...

What do you do in your life to pass on something special?

To make someone smile and appreciate life a little more?

    Re: Passing it on

    That's an interesting question.

I've spoken of it a time or two with various people and I heard an interesting take on this doing of good and making of people smile.

Some won't talk of it. They do it, but all anonymous and stealthy like. Some of them will even deny having done one of these good things because, and here's the weird part, not because they feel bad about it but -imagine zyther noise modulating here- because they feel it makes less of the gift if credit is claimed for it.

Heck, if I ever did a nice thing I'd surely take credit for it.
I may not be very smart, but what if I am?

I believe in treating people the way you wanted to be treated. Whether it be letting someone who is riding my rear while driving pass me, or letting someone cut in line at the grocery store.
