A Ball python that doesn't sleep balled up
My female Ball python never sleeps curled up in a little ball. My other Ball python, however, always sleeps curled up in a ball. My female doesn't exactly sleep curled up, but I guess I could kind of say she sleeps how a colubrid would sleep if you know what I'm trying to describe. Tomorrow I'll snap a few pictures to show you what I mean. Also, when I pick her up, she doesn't pull back her head, she stretches out. She isn't a scaredy cat at all, she's very tame and would much rather slither around than be in a tight ball.
Anyone else have any Ball pythons that don't sleep curled up?

Mine will sometimes sleep in a ball, sometimes not. Guess it depends on how he's feeling at the time.
I'd say it's totally normal.

It really is kind of weird how different some act, even with sleeping. I have one that never comes out of a ball, a couple that just live mostly in their hides, and some just dont care where they lay.

Re: A Ball python that doesn't sleep balled up
i have never seen mine ball up. he stretches right out and i rub his head and everything. he also would rather come out to play and crawl all over the place than curl into a ball. as long as ur temps r good and humidity and he is eating fine, dont worry about it. snakes have personalities too
