Could be many things, make sure you offer alot of water, and also attempt tp feed it could be just way under fed. As far as internal mites I have no experience, but if you offer water and food help ruling things out. If you have pictures it would help.

I've never heard of internal mites but I have heard of parasites. I'll bet if you feed that snake really well it will fill it's skin out. A vet check might help as well.

from what i've heard loose skin and a pyramid shaped back is the result of poor diet or it has fasted for awhile!.. start feeding it every 7 days or after it poops!

Re: Loose Skin?
If it is only like this right before the vent, he/she may have just defecated recently. It does not appear to be dehydration, but definitely keep a water bowl available to him/her at all times. My guess is that he/she will be back loose the loose skin after a few meals.
