my bearded D turned white?
So, I hace had my beardie for a few months now and she is great!
For the past couple of months, every now-and-then she gets REALLY dark. Like her purple lines all over her body change and her whole body is mostly purple and dark orange.
I resqued her from a pet store and assume its just a regular beardie.
Recently i noticed her changing again, but this time her head and tail are WHITE! it looks like she's gonna shed like my ball pythons, but isn't. I gave her a little bath thinking that might help, but she still is white...
any help? maybe explain the color changing of beardies??
Thank you!

Re: my bearded D turned white?
LOL dont worry, shes just going into shed Beardies do not shed in one peice like snakes do, they randomly shed in peices ( Tail head body legs) Just remember, no matter what, do not help her in any way once she starts to shed, it will cause harm to her. Also, depending on mood and heat, she will go from darker to lighter.

By white do you mean she is kind of faded? If so she is going into shed. She will shed in pieces. You will see pieces of loss skin on her but do not pull it off. You could just give her another bath and the humidity will help her in the shedding process once you see this start to happen. The tail, legs and head will probably be the last sections the shed will come off. As far as her side bars changing, what is the temp of her enclosure? What type of lighting are you using?

UVB flourescent? Whats the brand name and number ( 5.0, 10.0)
Mouth gaping is how the handle heat, your temps are actually way to low. Id bump the basking spot up to 105.
