    hi

Hi. we have just secured a royal python for my daughter for christmas. She is 6 now and has been obsessed with them since she was 3 so we thought it was about time we gave into her.She has seen her snake and is currently getting little lessons in looking after her snake from the reptile shop. We currently have a bearded dragon so a python is a whole new experience for us. We would be grateful for any other support and advice. Thanks

    Re: hi

Yeah, I'd be SO jealous if my friend got a BP at age 6... the only "exotic" pets my parents got us were turtles and geckos. Anyway, welcome to the forum! I suggest you check out the sticky threads, especially on the General BP and BP Husbandry forums. There is a ton of good info on here, and you'll find everything you need to know.

Welcome to the forum and your Daughter is very very lucky to have a mom like you. It took me Two years to convince my mom to let me get a snake and I'm 18 years old.

But everything I have learned about Ball Pythons I learned from here. There is a lot of great Information here.

Hi BB's Mom! Welcome to BP.net. I really hope that you enjoy your stay here, everyone is so friendly and helpful. I think that it is wonderful that you got your little girl a BP, and at such a young age. It really does help to teach children how to love and care for something. I look forward to seeing any pictures you might share with us (we're all picture hungry here, lol!). Take care and see you around!
