-Almost- two years after taking him home...

So i've now had my BP for juuuust a smidge under two years. First pictures I took of him were at 6 months. Haven't taken any again until tonight.

I call the snake a 'he' but to be honest, I think he is really a she now because the snake has surpassed the 3ft 6 inch mark at under 2 years old. Originally when I purchased the snake at PetCo (yea yea I didn't know any better at the time ) it was the largest one in the cage full of about 5 BP's and it didn't get snippy or skiddish when they guy reached in to get him out.

And without further adue, here he! or maybe she! Is!

    Camera shy at first!

    Starting to like the attention?

Then suddenly, he gets all spunky and decides to look around. So I could only get a closeup of part of him! Though, I kind of do like it because, while this might be lame to some of you, it looks kind of like fire in the dark parts of his pattern!

That's all for now. He's currently giving me a neck massage and trying to figure out how to best climb down onto my chair.

I can't fathom not taking pictures of my snakes for two years! LOL

He (or she) is absolutely gorgeous! You should post some of those six month old pictures for comparison!

He! She!? She he? Sheme? There are names for people with this situation.....but bp.net has no bias or discrimination. They accept all he-she's! or she-he's? Does he by chance do a great whitney houston impersonation? Or does she do a great frank sinatra impersonation? This may be the answer to the mystery question?

Getting back to her/him .....love it! It looks amazing

ps:I am not responsible for what was said up there if it offended anyone lol.

I have no issue with anyone...."lawyer told me this should be my response on this topic from here on out and not to mention I am still not sure sure if my wife is a she /he....." So until I recieve a subpeona I am pleading the 9th!!!!

Re: -Almost- two years after taking him home...

So wow! I looked at the first couple photos of when I took this little guy home and it was actually in March of 08! Nearly 7 months younger than I thought. Not even close to 2 years old yet! Man does time fly

Feels like the snake's been growing even faster than I thought. Here's the picture comparison from then and now. Let me know if that's normal growth or if my snake is unusually large for its age. I have never seen another BP's growth stages so I have no idea myself!

The photo was taken in almost exactly the same spot on the same shelf I took the old photo on. Muuuuch bigger than when I purchased her/him.
