What is the "Canned Replies" for?

There's never anything in this drop down when posting. I am curious what it is for.

From the User CP you can add replies that you find yourself using often. This way if you wanted to answer one of the often repeated questions you can just select the "canned reply" and save yourself having to type out the post.

There should be a edit canned replies link in the User CP that when you click on you can then "add canned replies"

Canned reply's are ones that you set yourself under 'User CP' then 'Edit Canned replys' , here is one of mine...

I don't use it very often though, it seems too impersonal. It does cut down on typing though.

i have two REALLY long posts i use for canned replies

one is my "Trying to get your snake to eat? read this" reply and the other is "why you shouldn't house 2 BPs together"

saves my hands tons
