Re: new display for my BP

I got some more work done this weekend. I got all the details on the tank and hood done also got stain on them and a couple coats of poly. I just need to get all the hardware put on. I also got most of the stand done. I need to finish the doors and some trim work then stain it.

It looks really good. I wish I had a knack for this sort of thing.

thanks, My dad has really helped a lot. If it was not for him and his tools this thing would not look half as good.

Re: new display for my BP

Well I finally got it all done. It has been set up for about an hour and the temps are 90 on the hot side and 74 on the cool. the Humidity has been around 55%. I am hoping the humidity will stay up. I am using belly heat and coconut husk for bedding so I think the humidity will not be a problem.

Awesome, looks great!! I want to build something like that sometime LOL.

Just two things I may add in: keep the cool side temps in the lower 80's (80F-85F) and you should have two identical, tight-fit hides on both ends. The half log hides don't make the snake feel that secure.
