    Re: All Done

Thanks everyone. I go home today as soon as I've seen the doctor. So for the next three weeks I'll be hanging out online or playing WoW. I have decided not to breed the snakes this season. I'm not going to have the time or money this go around and won't have anything ready (hatchling racks and such). I have already pairs up my normal with my pastel and while I haven't seen any locks, there are signs. I plan on separating them for the rest of the season, but will be keeping the incubator nearby and set up one hatchling rack just in case I get eggs from her. This break from breeding will let me focus on healing and getting back into school and will give my two smaller girls another year or two to put on some size.

    Re: All Done

Yep, it was on Monday. They went in and removed my right ovary. I had a dermoid cyst on it that they discovered during its removal was the size of a small grapefruit. So hopefully my other ovary can kick in and my husband and I can start trying for kids soon.

It feels so weird. The skin near the incision has feeling but all the muscle underneath is numb. Its a very odd sensation. I'm already up and walking around though my body feels very stiff when I do so. I'm not taking much painkiller either. I can't wait to get home! I hate sitting around in a hospital bed! Of course, I get to ask my husband to clean snake tubs this week.

Glad to hear all is well. Take care and don't overdo it when you get home.
