    Question for all you breeders

Ok so here it is, I have been introducing a male mojava to a female mojave now, on and off for the past to weeks. When I first put the male in the cage is clean, but usually by the next day I find white stuff all around the cage, almost like feces, but it does not look the same. Any answers would be great.

Urates are the solid parts of the urine.

And basically, what happened is that one of them passed liquids and urates, and they both ran thru them and spread them all over.

And the horrifying disaster that is a cage after they've been breeding is now yours to enjoy. <lol>

What kind of substrate are you using? Often when a female is showing her willingness to breed, she will evert her musk glands and wag her tail back and forth smearing musk (and often urates) over the area covering it with her scent. If you're using a newspaper substrate you can often see stripes or 'tracks' across the paper the next morning.
