    Question Ball.....any suggestions?

    Hello everybody,

I a breeder of Ball pythons in Holland and bred a Black Pastel male to severall Pastel females this season. I got some nice clutches with Pastels, Black Pastels, Normals and some Black Pewters.

Only in the last clutch we bred a strange looking animal which seems to carry some aspects all the traits in this combo: Pastel, Black Pastel and Pewter. But is is neither of these morphs.... What do you think? Any suggestions?

My best quess is that this is a little joke of mother nature. We will keep and raise her to find out what the genetics are on this snake.

Yoiu can see her via this link: http://www.mijnalbum.nl/Album=ON84VFFW

Thanks in advance for your comments!

wow that is weird looking, I totally get what the OP is saying about it looking like both a pastel and a black pastel.. though it doesn't look like a black pewter!! weird.

    It looks great though,

That's what I was thinking! It's an AMAZING pastel

Although the black back probably isn't genetic unless your snakes were carriers for it. I have a "black back" normal, but I highly doubt he's genetic since he wasn't sold to me as that.
