    reabsorbing follicles.

Hi, My friend went to an expo not long ago and purchased a 3000g female ball python. The owners said she was with males last year but reabsorbed her follicles. Now he is saying he wants to try breeding her. I'm just curious is there normally a certain amount of time you should wait before trying to breed them again after that happens? Thanks, Nick.

    Re: reabsorbing follicles.

If I'm not mistaken females reabsorbe thier follicles if they decide not to make eggs out of them yearly. If I was him I would go ahead and try to breed her. Females will usually start breeding at the same time of the year almost to date of the year before. Hope this helps.
