What to do when you can't handle any more?
When it rains it pours. Well at least for me. I am not sure how I am going to get through all the crap that life is handing me. An unexpected kid, puts strain on an already strained relationship. Money strain makes that even worse. So I was dealing, just not well. Then a bunch more dumps right in my lap. The girlfriend then loses her job. They cut my hours. Can't get worse right?
My gf and I got several grand worth of stuff stolen out of her car. We lost a lot of our KC Renfest garb which isn't cheap. We work out there, so some of it is required. Its not like we can go down to the local kmart and get pirate boots. This we couldn't afford. So how does it get worse?
I am cleaning tubs today and notice that my het pied female I got from Adam about a year ago is wheezing a bit, the darned snake keeps tipper her bowl or sloshing all the water out no matter what I do. I suppose it got too wet, I have to clean her daily to make sure. RI? Seriously? Please God, anything but this. Financially we can't handle this right now. Too many things have hit us at once. Was this the end of things? OH no, of course not, one of our corns also looks as if it has an abnormal lump in her. I thought she had laid all her eggs, then batch two came even though we didn't breed her twice. All those eggs came out, so I thought, now this lump? Very close to her vent. Please let this be a poo...... So now I am going to have two vet bills, have to give injections to a snake that I don't know how to do..
Please God, when will this end? I consider myself a tough guy, but all of this at once has me ready to fold.
Oh did I mention the girlfriend's car is now having issues starting....

Things will always get better
I find sometimes the lord tests me with things whether it be with financial issues or teaching me patience.
I try to think back about how I handled the last time things were down and out and think about how to go about the current.
I hope you make it through this one and you and your family come out even higher than before.

You know, this has been a REALLY crummy month or so for a lot of us.
I just lost one of my young goats today, on top of everything else that has happened. No idea why, fine one moment, dead within 12 hours. Best guess is a poison or toxin of some kind.

I'll be glad when this year is over..

Just pray man, I find alot of times God is already at work fixing stuff before we even know what to pray for. Im not trying to preach at you or anything like that , but He is more powerful than all of us put together...Things always seem like they get alot worse before they get alot better...I know sometimes the pressure can make you want to crack ..BUT .. you just have to keep hanging on until you get one of those good days..

Re: What to do when you can't handle any more?
Sorry dude... hopefully things will get better soon! I had an AWFUL month this August, including the death of 2 loved ones, followed by my grandmother (who's 92) being diagnosed with Alzheimer's - and having to move into a nursing home. They say things happen in threes, so I'm praying that was it for the year. You've had at least 3 bad things happen, so maybe that's a sign things will be good from here on? Keep your chin up...
