Head size
I was just wondering, do older, older snakes(8+years) tend to have bigger heads than younger snakes that are mature (2-4 years)?

My vote is yes. My oldest snake (around 7) seems to have a bigger head than others of comparable size at 2-3 years old.

Especially if you have a Saharan giant ball. The ones from that region have heads that will fill your hand at full size. Not to mention they have been rumored to grow up to 7 ft!

Re: Head size
I'd love a 7ft long ball python! That'd just be awesome
Thanks for the responses, I kinda figured the same from what I've seen so far between my adult males (2 and 4 years old) vs animals I've seen that are known to be older than 6 years.

Re: Head size
My 03 girl is going to be 7 this spring. I should take a picture of her with her head in my hand and post it. She does have a pretty good sized head. Nothing like a giant. But they definately get a bit bigger with age.
