It's exactly how it sounds. Piebald's are prized for the amount of "white" on their bodies. Some have so much it's a majority, some have so little it's barely visible. Prices go up the more white there is--although some people are fond of low-whites.

Hey traveler, what do you know of wolves?

All that's scaly and reptilian, all that's furry and mammalian, all that swims in the sea, all that flies in the sky--I love each and every one of these precious creatures.

That's pretty much the bottom line on it, the more white the more expensive, their patterns will vary extensively.... the amount of white on the adult pieds will guarantee very little on how their off spring will turn out, you could get low, med or high whites.

Good luck finding what you are looking for

I disagree that the high whites are more sought after. I think the low whites are HAWT!

I agree as well. Their priced (usually) according to levels of white.
IMO a med to med/hi say 60-70% with nice break up and a smiley face is the perfect Pied.

    Re: newbie and Piebald

In my personal taste I prefer 60-70 % white with not so much pattern just some here and there.
