Ball Python Smells really bad!

Recently my ball has been smelling really bad, its sortove like a fish smell. I heard its possibly the dead skin he has remaining on his head from a bad shed. I have soaked him twice to try to remove it but he hates when i touch his head. I cleaned the whole cage last week and now its back again. What could the smell be? and any possible solutions?

Did you clean off the items in the cage (hides, water dish, decor, etc.)? Sometimes the items will still have that crap-smell to them so it's always important to wash off the cage items so your cage doesn't end up smelling.

Also, when your snake defecates, do you clean up the feces and a bit of the area around it? Spot cleaning would be very important to do so your cage doesn't end up smelling and your snake doesn't end up slithering through the feces.

Yes i clean it all up. I washed everything last week. I replace the substrate when he goes to the bathroom everytime. Its actually th snake that smells i held him and smelt him everything in the cage smells ok. idk what it is i even soaked him and everything but now the smell is back??????

I'm not really sure what it could be, you could try giving him another warm bath for 10-15 minutes and see if that helps.

Weird. I give my snakes that go through their own poop and then stink baths with a drop of Dawn dish soap to clean them up.
