Can someone help with newly bought royal python?

Hi, today i've bought a 1 year old female royal python. The problem is that i have put the heat mat on one side of the container but there seems to be some condensation in there. Is this normal?

Yes it is normal, all it is is condensation from the humidity. You said contanier do you mean sterlite tub? If that is what you are using you can drill holes in the sides to vent it some. You might want to pick up a humidity gage to measure the humidity. Try to keep it around 50 to 60 percent.

I would suggest soldering the holes instead of drilling, you can risk cracking the tub.
