Building my own aquarium?

I own a glass shop and i was just wondering how think the glass should be if i build my own tank for my BP? anyone have any suggestions?

What size tank are you planning on building?
By the time you add up supplies it may just be cheaper to pick up a tank. I know of a few people who have built their own fish tanks, but mostly they have been 300 gallons or more to be cost effective.

well i think im just going to buy a tank then because i will have to buy a latchable lid and i will have to make some sort of base for it so that the UTH isnt in direct contact with my dresser that it will be sitting on. thanks for the suggestion

You can always get some gripper pads from Wal-Mart and stick 2-3 together to raise it up. That's what I use on my tubs. I also think the Exo-Terra UTH has some little plastic riser feet to raise up the tank. Here is a pic of the pads I use on my tubs...
