Talking New Pickup at First show!

I picked up this beauty at the Tucson Reptile Expo, which was my first show too. I planned on buying another Honduran to fill up my rack but no one had the kind I was looking for. Couldn't leave empty handed though and I fell in love with this girl at first sight. I actually got her unsexed and took her back to my work to probe her. Really happy she's a she!

Nice bredli, I don't know if it's common or not, but I love how the first part of her body is lighter, then as you get to the back it darkens.

Most bredli's are like that. Great looking female, now you just need a male!! How big is she and how old?

She's 3 1/2-4 feet. Don't know the age but for breeding purposes, I'm going to assume she is 1 year old and will not breed her for at least 3 years, maybe 4.

Also, I just built her this sweet tub today. It's a 105qt sterilite with manzanita perch.

she is so pretty! Could you tell me a little more about the perch? It seems so ingenious. My carpet dosen't use hers a lot and i think its because it may need to be steadier. :/

The perch is a manzanita branch that was cut at 2 points, perpendicular so they fit in a corner. I drilled pilot holes through the tub and perch, then screwed it in place. It was actually really easy, and should be no problem if you have a drill and 2 screws . You can use wooden dowels or pvc screwed crosswise for tub perches if you don't happen to have any perpendicular cut manzanita lying around.
