    Feeding SUCCESS!

Baby is my four month old normal, who has always taken FT mice. I decided to switch him over to rat pups, and he took it without hesitation on the first try!

I put both the rat and a little hopper I had left over into a bag to defrost them both, to put the mouse scent on the rat. Then I dangled the rat in front of Baby, who struck immediately (!) and practically inhaled it (!!!) without looking twice. I'm so happy he's taking the switch so easily, he's always been a good eater and I'd hate for that to change!

    Re: Feeding SUCCESS!

Congrats on the conversion. Now you will notice him grow a bit quicker due to rats having more meat. The same size rat vs the same size mouse(looking at size wise), the rat will weigh more.
