help me find a snake

i'm looking for a snake that is either very dark (black best) or very white,
such as the black phase of White-lipped pythons or boelens (haha could never afford one ) (my color demand seems to be most difficult for me)
my experience goes up to GTP, so while i like large snakes, i couldn't handle something as heavy-bodied as a blood python

They have one that looks like a White Lipped Python, it's on the back of a girls head/top also in her sig. Not sure who it is, or what snake it was, I believe she said it was an Olive Python? I believe they lighten up over time though.

as far as pythons go if money is an issue , because a snake that is all black or a snake that is all white such as ivory's and leucistics, are expensive. you could try colubrids and get a black racer or mexican milk or mexican king. the black racers can get pretyy big and become great snakes with a good amount of handling.

I remember seeing that as well, but assuming we're remembering the same picture, I don't think it was an olive (Liasis olivaceus), plus olives get pretty hefty as adults (can be over 4 meters long, or roughly 13-14 feet). I think I remember the snake in that person's pic being a brown water python (Liasis fuscus), which has a much smaller adult size (more like 6-7 feet), and is darker in coloration than an olive, albeit not quite black.

Same genus, though, so you weren't too far off.

Would you consider buying Ball pythons? They aren't that heavly bodied at all, and a female could only reach up to 6 feet max, which normally doesn't happen too often. Most females stay somewhere between 4-5.5 feet, and can get over 3,000g.

There are two Ball python morphs I have in mind: Super Black Pastel and Blue Eyed Leucistic (or Black Eyed Leucistic, if you prefer black eyes over blue).

A Super Black Pastel is all black, and the Blue/Black Eyed Leucistics are pure white (besides the BELs made from Mojaves, those normally have grey heads). I'm not sure how much a Super Black Pastel costs, but I know a Blue/Black Eyed Leucistic could be anywhere from $3,500 to $6,000.

I know you may not want to spend that much, but those are just suggestions for an all black or all white snake.

You could always go with colubrids, though. If you want an all black colubrid, you can try a Mexican Milksnake, Mexican Black Kingsnake, Black Rat snake, Black Racer, or an Indigo snake. If you want all white colubrids, you could try a Leucistic Rat snake or a Snow Corn snake.

OR, maybe try a black AND white snake, such as a California Kingsnake or an Eastern Kingsnake.

I second that for a black king, or if you want something bigger, go for a black milk. They can get fairly large for a milk and simple to care for.

money is an issue right now, but i'm not looking for it immediately, so I can saveup/payoff for a dream pet once I find something I've fallen in love with

i already have cornsnakes making snows and opals, with an amel-cinder project in the future
I would definitely love an Indigo, but I'm unsure of the legalities

i think i'll go with a black milk to quench my thirst but i'm still hoping to find a black or white python one day

Get a nice black blood male. They are thick but they average 3-4 feet so they are pretty manageable. An indigo would rock too though. If you buy it within state you will have to check the local laws but most states do not require permits for in state purchases. If you buy from someone out of state you will need to get a permit. If money is no issue a nice white snake would be a white diamond ball (super vin russo het lucy). They are the whitest lucies and have nice sapphire eyes.
