Ever have one of those days where it just seems like everything is wrong, you can't do anything right? Where you feel like everything you touch turns to ashes and you wonder why you even try?
I had one of those today. It was a low down, sucky, icky day! So I started thinking... and writing. And I noticed something...
Even if I am having a crappy (and I do mean crappy) day, there is soooo much I have to be thankful for.
All it took to turn my thinking around was to stop and think about how good my life really is.
I was thinking of having a thread here for what we are thankful for. To remind us that we are blessed, no matter what our troubles are. Please, add to the list
What I am thankful for:
1. My daughter Michaela, she is the light of my life.
2. My SO Paul and his daughter Cheyanne- while it may be a challenge to have a blended family, it is also a great blessing too.
3. My family- especially my mom and grandfather.
4. unconditional love from my pets, who are always there to cheer me up.
5. Wonderful friends, in real life and here online
6. A career that I love- I can't imagine doing anything else
7. Crisp fall days
8. Nature and the beauty that surrounds me each and every day, if I just take the time to stop and appreciate it.
9. Our new home
10. Pain free days- always a good thing!
11. The ability to forgive and learn from my mistakes.
