Not sure what the cost is on that one. The cheapest one i would recommend is this one http://spyderrobotics.com/products/herpstat.html

That model looks like junk. Get a herpstat, ranco, or johnson controls. I don't even think it can control more than two identical heating elements anyway.

Its a generic t-stat that they slap a BAH sticker on. It will get you by till you can aford something better. I have a Herp Power Proportional Thermostat from them only cause I got it with some other stuff. I have to agree with Royal Morphz. Herpstat is the only way to go. I have the Herpstat Pro and it IS the top of the line.

I have one of those and a couple Alifes and I haven't had a problem with either model.

I think they work just fine for racks - I save the expensive thermostat for my incubator.

Actually I'm a Helix guy through and through lol, but the Helix are kinda pricey so I figured I would give the most affordable one I would use lol

I have a BAH, it gets the job done but it's very low quality. Adjustable in 2degree increments, which is pretty lame. You'd be much better off spending the little extra for a herpstat or something like that

I have a BAH Herp Power and I have a Herpstat. I like them both equally.
