    Caramel Albino Female Breeding?

I've been debating on whether to get a caramel albino female, and have read several different threads about whether they will produce good, viable clutches or if they mostly slug out.

I haven't found any good answers either way, and want to know does anyone have any further input on this topic?

Maybe someone that has had experience with breeding a visual caramel female can help out.

    Thanks

    Marti,
Contact Sean at EBN - I was over there last weekend and we had this exact conversation. I believe he told me he did in fact have a female lay viable eggs.

    Good luck,

    Lee

Actually a good friend of mine Trey Barnard asked that exact question to Brian Barcyzk at Daytona (I was standing right next to him) and Brian said that they do lay viable eggs and has many clutches from Caramel Females.

Yes, it's a myth. Someone asked for pictures of a caramel sitting on her eggs, and since nobody really had thought to take pics of every snake clutch in their collection the myth was formed that they dont lay eggs and you only want hets. The reality is most people breeding higher end stuff like caramels have seen enough clutches that, while its always cool, they dont feel the need to take pictures of it all I'm sure now that the rumor has gotten out we will probably see some caramel girls on eggs documented soon.

Yeah sorry about that... lol that was my thread. Anyway I had heard the myth, and a kind herper on here showed me a pic. I show the pic to the myth teller and he still said "Those look ugly." That was the end of the conversation.
