Exclamation Need help quick. please help me identify this morph

    1.) Is this a fire?

2.) To what degree of certainty can you answer #1?

This is an 09 female hatchling that is being offered in a trade. The guy offering the trade is saying it is a fire but he did not breed it and he is not certain who did breed it.

No doubt it is at least a dinker, but for trade value purposes, would you say it is a fire?

    Please help!

Mike, he looks like a YB, not a fire to me. The head doesn't look right for a fire to me, not bright enough. The belly and the sides look YB to me. Degree of certainty? I'm 80% on saying no to fire.

Also, the markings on the first five pictures don't match the markings on the last three.

Look at the size of the snake in the first five pictures in his hand, and the size of the last three (last picture specifically) in comparison to the hand. The last three pictures are of an older, larger animal.

Look at the stripe on the neck of the first five pictures with the dots in the one stripe. Not there in the last three photos of the animal.

Yeah, after doing a quick google search it looks like you might be right. what does a fires belly look like?

Honestly I don't know squat about yellow bellys. Isn't the belly supposed to be yellow in color or it it refering to the flames? It seems like the yellow bellys I see in a google image search don't have such a wide clear belly if that makes sense.

If it is in fact a yellow belly... what is a female yellow belly's trade value at this particular moment in time?

I'm not sure why they are called YB's (edit according the guide, it's because the sides have yellow, not the belly). No, their bellies are not supposed to be yellow. It's the checkerboard pattern along the sides of the belly. You can see it in the last picture.

If I were you, which I'm not.. I'd be more concerned about the fact that the snakes pictured above are TWO.. DIFFERENT snakes.

    Could be a YB...

...but doesn't the tail marking mean it's a ringer, too?
