Got some nice pic but also a weird question

The first three pictures are just pics of my ball python. But here is my 2nd question and this is kinda important!!!!!! My ball python loves to climb and she is only a month old but here is the problem she gets in this crack of the top of the cage and she is so small that she fits way up there but when she falls she falls hard so i want to show you a picture of what im talking about and tell me if i should be worried.

    Here they are

The first one is how she squeezes up in there the second is to show you how high she falls from so let me know. Because im assuming this is normal.

yea its normal mines does that all the time they like tight spaces makes them feel secure just always make sure ur tops on tight cause they are escape artist's trying moving that water bowl in the middle so she really cant get up there and put alot of fake plants so she feels secure on the ground cause sometimes they might not like the hide and choose the fake plants

Delilah used to do that all the time, when I had her in the glass tank... she'd climb up to the wires (it had a built-in lamp fixture), hang out there for a while, and then THUNK to the bottom. They can actually hurt themselves by falling, so you might want to add a taller log or something - then she can lower herself more slowly. Now that mine are in tubs, they can't fall or stick to anything!

Beautiful snake, btw... she has a very interesting pattern, almost like a cinnamon or pastel.

Hey LOLO and KRIS what do you guys think that my girl is like do you think she is just your average ball python... LOLO you already said cinnamon or pastel but like i got her only for 25 bucks so i cant imagine someone would let a cinnamon or pastel go for that cheap but i did get her at a expo center so sometimes them people are a little nutz if you get my drift.

This why many reccomend shorter enclosures or tubs. Only arboreal snakes need height. With BP's it can be a liability or cause insecurity and feeling of vulnerability.

I prefer tubs or Vision cages for Ball pythons.

I agree, she's "just" a normal - or a classic, as I like to call them. But she does have some interesting patterns, so I think you should bring those out if/when you mate her... I'd suggest the two I mentioned, cinnamon and pastel, because of her patterns resembling theirs. She's a cutie!

Re: Got some nice pic but also a weird question

    It's a normal.

Do you have any hides in the cage? You need to small snug hides (not log hides) that he'll feel comfortable in. It looks like he's insecure and trying to escape to find somewhere dark and snug to hide.

Also, I recommend a smaller cage. A 10g or 15g would be efficient and would decrease the chance of injury by climbing.
