Double-Dominant Spider?
If someone were to breed two spiders together, there inherently *should* be a chance that under basic Mendellian genetics 1/4th of the babies from the pairing would be a spider that had two Dominant genes meaning when bred to anything it would produce the spider gene anywhere similar to how any other super form would work.
That being said, it seems that this is either impossible OR noone else has tried this and tested it enough to create an all-dominant Spider.
What are your thoughts and/or explanations on this?

It is well known, or at least widely believed that the Super form of Spider is a lethal combo.
I don't know how many other breeders besides Kevin have tried it though, and sometimes wonder... Just not enough to breed my Spider het Axanthic with my BumbleBee.

Re: Double-Dominant Spider?
Homozygous spider is lethal, there is no proven homozygous spiders in existence.
There are rumors of one out there, but again mere rumors and no proof. They are thought to die during incubation while still in the egg or the egg itself merely dies or even the follicle gets reabsorbed by the female.
Too many theories and not enough evidence of it either way, but in my opinion, its lethal.

Wow, lethal, that's so scary.
Are there any other bp genes that are lethal? Hmmm, there is something about the spider gene...

Re: Double-Dominant Spider?
It has never been proven that the spider gene has a Lethal Super. It's all speculation. The face of the matter is that people don't do spider to spider breeding's for the same reason that they don't do Pin to Pin there is no visual super to date. So breeders feel its a waste of pair to only produce spiders or only produce pin's when those animals could be used to produce combos.

Yes the woma x woma I believe produces a pearl which dies shortly after hatch.
