getting close
My eggs are on day 39. I have had them incubating at 88.5 average. They have been as low as 87.9 and as high as 90.1 but for the most part they stay pretty steady in the middle.
They started to dent very early even with 100% humidity the whole time. Even with the denting thier is still moving babies in all 6. There has been no mold or water spots. They have stayed perfectly white just dented. When candled you can see the babys shadow takes up half the egg.
I would like to know how early, as in how many days some of you have had them hatch and what temps you had them at as well as how late with what temps you have had. The 23rd is 55 days and this is about when I expect them to hatch.
I was also like to see some pics of eggs at different stages for comparison, especially some pics closer to hatching.

I don't have good pics of denting eggs, but suggest you add moisture if you are using a hatching medium to the corners where it won't touch the eggs. I don't measure RH, I go by what the eggs are doing. I've had some dimple slightly at early stages & I add moisture; that's my cue.
About 10 days before hatching they will crease & that is normal. Pics of your eggs would help those of us who have hatched out clutches- we could help you best that way.

Re: getting close
These are them now, they are more dented now then they have been but they are 2 weeks from hatch. I have had them on egg crate so they cant touch the vermiculite. The vermiculite has stayed wet. I have added water to it a few times. The 2 bowls on either side of the eggs have been kept full of water. The papertowel is in thier to help them stop from accidentlly spilling/splashing on the eggs when I move the box and is always saturated. There is lots of condensation on the walls. I use saran wrap over the box tight under the box lid. I also keep a delicup full of water in the incubator to highten humdity ouside the box and for adding water inside the box when needed. I dont know if it was possible to highten the humidity anymore.
The babies are active in the eggs, as soon as you candle they start moving alot.

Re: getting close
Wow- for that stage they look way too dry to me. Since you have them on a grate you can absolutely saturate that substrate with no danger to the eggs-and I would do so.

Re: getting close
at this stage is it going to make a diff? I was told not to do that before? It says in the DIY that the vermiculite should be half the weight water and half the weight vermiculite, this is supposed to make it just right so it clumps but water does not squeeze out. So thats what I did. Then after the first week they showed slight denting so I poored lots of water in the vermiculite and added the bowls. They still continued to dent even with nearly a delicup full of water extra.Could it be they are genetically programmed to dent like this?

Re: getting close
Any other opinions?
I want to be sure that it is ok to soak the substrate at this stage and if it will make any diff? I am worried that much water will cause water to drip from the lid on the eggs.
Even with the denting all 6 babies are moving, I dont want to add the water now and find out that it kills them later.

Re: getting close
Two weeks to go I would leave them alone. There is plenty of moisture in that bin, if not too much. Candle them and see what they look like and how the veins look. I mean look at your bin,not the eggs, and ask yourself what to do. Your gut feeling is the one to go on. Plus you couldn't get more moisture in there without flooding it.
