    Question Egg Questions

Yes, I bred late and still have me my first clutch of eggies right now!
I have a couple questions about them though.

First, I have noticed they started getting a few little brown patches here and there all over them. Is this okay or is it a sign of mold starting to grow??

Second, how can you tell when they are starting to collaps and not become too dehydrated? I am watching for them to hatch and it wont be too much longer now....but when they collaps do they start to dimple and harden up? Or is this a result of it not being humid enough in the incubator?

I currently have just four eggs from my one female and two are actually pretty small compared to the others.

    Re: Egg Questions

    Hi,

A picture would help with the spot problem best I think.

What day are they on at the moment?

I noticed last night one of mine is starting to dimple and they are on day 43.

Yeah, I assumed a picture would be best, but didn't have time. Here is one now though. I have to say I forgot to write down the exact lay date. >_< I do know it's right around like 40some days forme too though...it was the end of june if I am correct.

Here is the pic, you can see that the one is rather small and dented...it's been that way since it was layed, but now the others look to be denting.

The spots are a little leathery and just randomly appeared the other day. And yes, there is a window in one of them and that was also there since it came out. (All have a baby inside)
