Re: beardie questions
Well, I only have one but he has a great personality! Very entertaining to watch him eat, etc. Very curious, likes to watch everything you do. There have been a few times that he's gaped at me but that was while he was in shed so not surprising. He's never bitten me except by accident while handfeeding. All in all, he's a lot of fun and I love having him around! Thinking about getting him a girlfriend soon!

Re: beardie questions
With Thorn, it really depends on his mood. Sometimes he just doesn't feel like being messed with so he'll try and scramble away. Other times he's content to hang out with me as long as I want. And then there are cases like yesterday... I was sitting on the floor of the reptile room and he was hanging onto my chest/shoulder. Well, he saw the mealworm colony and decided to go for it. Which was of course impossible for him to get to. But he was too riled after he saw them so I had to put him back before I lost him under the racks!
He's at that adolescent age where they CAN get somewhat moody. So far, I haven't had a problem with it, but who knows? I've heard that adults are very chill and will hang out with you whenever/whereever.

Beardies are very friendly and generally tolerate handling very well. However, when they are juveniles, they can be quite jumpy, and you should keep handling to a minimum since they can easily fall and hurt themselves. But when they get older they are "lap herps" Well, some of them anyways. My boy was a little nuts!

Re: beardie questions
They are known as the "labrador retrievers" of the herp world. As the other posters have already stated as juvies they are quite animated. With time they tend to settle down, but they will do what they want. My 4 each have their own personalities.
Hans is quite laid back and most times loves to curl up in a pocket as seen here:

he climbed in there all by himself (that's the kangaroo pocket to my hoodie)
Savannah and Lucy are cuddly they like to lay just under my chin with their heads on each shoulder and Savannah curls her arms under her. And most times they are content to stay put, at least until they get to hot, then to move.
hope that helps
