    Lay times

    For those of you that hatch out multiple clutches per year, I was kind of curious what the average timespan is from;
    a.Copulation to Ovulation
    b.Ovlation to pre-lay shed
    c.Pre lay shed to Laying eggs

    Any imput is greatly appriciated

    I start cooling my females about the beginning of oct.

    I start pairing males with females by the end of oct.

    Alot of the ovulations depend on the girl, ovulation usually occurs between feb. and my girl ovulated at the beginning of june.

    check out this site for more info... definately a site that will be well needed as you start breeding.

    I've read that Page many times(That guy is hilarious) I have also read a few BP books(Including "the complete Ball Python") But I was Looking for more specific answers(I.E. ? Days or ? weeks) instead of general time of the year.

    For Example
    a.No more than 25 days
    b.10-14 days
    c.27-35 days

    Does this look agreeable?

    I'd drive myself crazy counting the others, so I only count one. The one I watch is POS to lay- the rest can vary. My girls usually are 28-33 days, shed to eggs laid.

    Is that a standard length of time? I mean if a female took on the first Lock how long till Ovulation and POS?

    In "The complete Ball Python" It is stated that a safe length of time from Last copulation to Ovulation would be no more than a 25 day period?
