Exo terra night glo, terrible.
Well I purchased one a few weeks ago, and it suddenly stopped working.
I returned it to the pet store for another one, thinking it was a dud. A couple days after, I literally saw it turn off and stop working. Other light bulbs work in my heating lamp, has anyone else had problems with this product?

I haven't had this problem before. What wattage is the bulb, and what's your fixture rated for? That's the only thing I could think of. I've got one that's been running just fine for several months.

I have never had mine go out that fast, went through one but it took ~5 months...
on a side note, is there really any difference in the Night Glo and just a normal low-wattage black light? Does is cover a larger or smaller spectrum?

Re: Exo terra night glo, terrible.
light bulbs like that have a tendency to blow real fast if a) (as someone else said) the wattage is too high for what the ballast is rated or b) you're running it off an extension cord/power bar that already has too much wattage running through it
