question
okay so the breeder who is instructing us told us to do a two day together two day apart breeding pattern. so today makes the start of the third day. They have been locked all day yesterday and most of last night and have re locked this morning.
how do we get them apart? do we just have to catch them apart? or.... what?

Re: question
You have to catch them apart--don't disturb them if they're locked.

Exactly, & for this reason I've found over time that a 3-4 day together with 2 days apart cycling tends to work better for my collection.

Re: question
if they are locked leave them ALONE you could do alot of damage to both of them if you try to pull apart!!!!

Re: question
Are you only breeding him to one female? If so there is no reason to put him with that female so often. A few times a month is plenty.

Re: question
Just leave them alone when their locked. When their not locked pull him out, and give them a rest. But NEVER pull them apart.
