    Circles on back?

    I have this girl with circles on her back. For some reason I think I read somewhere that was a het marker for some kind of morph. I'm probably mistaken though. Have any of you heard of this? Here is a pic....

    Wow, those are some quite interesting marking there

    I'm not familiar with such marking being an indicator of any morphs.

    I'd put her into the dinker category without a shadow of a doubt. Breed her to a normal male and see if the offspring carry the same patterning. If they don't then breed a male offspring back to her a few years down the line to see if it is a recessive trait.

    Normals are variable. I have never heard of circles being an indicator of being a het.

    Definitely a good dinker project. would really like to see this bred to a spider... to see if any of the circles carry into the spider pattern.

    Thanks guys for the input. I actually just picked up a spider the other day and will definately dedicate her to him this season. Thanks for the input.
