Roaming at night ?? normal ??
my baby ball python roaming at night and sleeping in the day time is this normal ?
after i fed my ball she is just remain the same position to degest her food, but after 24 hours it just start to roaming in the night time.
is she looking for the food when she is roaming at night ? Will it be the reason cause of the size of food doesn't suitable for her for the last fed, she had three fuzzy, and still didn't get a lump so i think she need a adult mice on this week.
I was wondering is it normal for a ball python to roaming at night and sleeping in the day time, also my bp is roaming at night does it mean she is hungry ?
regards
calvin

Most snakes are nocturnal, so yes, it is normal.

Mine roams continually all night long. He will rearrange his hide and sometimes knocking it completely over, tip over his water bowl and burrow everywhere. His cage looks like a tornado went through almost every morning. But when I get up and fix his cage he will go into his hide and will stay there until night time and the cycle repeats. My BP is very active at night.

You don't mention her size/weight, but she's most likely still hungry...
Most hatchlings can eat hopper mice for the first meal...There's usually no need to feed a fuzzy mouse to a Ball.

Yeah, bp's are nocturnal, sleep all day, play all night (kind of sounds like a teenager). As for the possibility of it being hungry, how old/big is your bp? Your bp can eat a mouse/rat that is as big around as the bp's biggest point around. In other words, if your snake at it's biggest point around is approximately 3-4 inches (for instance), you could feed it a mouse that is 3-4 inches around. Length doesn't really matter.
