Putting a f/t mouse back in the freezer after been thawed?

Say your snake refuses a meal, and you don't want to waste the rodent, could you just put it back in the freezer and save it for another time? And if you can, how many times could it be put back in the freezer after being thawed out in case your snake refuses it multiple times? I've had times where a few of my snakes would refuse their meals and I ended up flushing the f/t rodent down the toilet. To not be wasteful, I was wondering if freezing the thawed out rodent again would be necesarry.

There's eighteen bajillion threads about this, search. But for time saving purposes....most people recommend throwing it out, especially if it was refused over night or something. But if you offered, and it didnt strike, youre fine refreezing it one more time. Any more after that and youre risking a rodent blowing up when it gets struck, due to cellular breakdown from refreezing and rethawing.

i think it will have to be resealed before you freeze it or it will just deteriorate next time you thaw it.

I remember when I fed my adult female ball a frozen-thawed medium rat, I guess water got in its body while thawing or something else because when she struck and constricted it the frozen-thawed rat made a almost deflating sound to it, and I thought "Oh crap, I didn't kill it!" But then it was killed then put in the freezer so I doubt it is what you described.
