    Need Some Detailed Help

    ok everyone i keep hearing and trying to my research on a plastic tub and the flexxtape. I guess what my question is what kind of plastic tub do I use can I get any (rubbermaid etc.) and as for the flexxtape do i need to ground it to the floor, a wood stand or does it attach to the plastic itsself . My last question is everywhere i have read it says get a thermestat for it is there any specific of can i get one at home depot. Please im looking for a detailed answer possible picture really appreciate it

    You can get any kind of tub. I got a Sterilite from Wal-Mart. It works well. They have Rubbermaid there too I think, either one works. Your choice.

    I don't use the Flexxtape stuff so I really have no knowledge about it.

    I don't think you can get a thermostat at Home Depot or any hardware stores. You can get a Dimmer, which you should only use if you have the time to check it every hour or so cuz they tend to fluctuate. You can get thermostats from various online websites, just google the name of the thermostat you want!

    Any tub will work. Just make sure you can close the top securely.

    Flexwatt is the preferred heating method for those using rack systems because flexwatt is sold by the foot at a very low price.

    If you are just using one tub setup, I would just use a UTH.

    You need a thermostat specifically designed for reptiles. The reptitemp 500r is the most simple and inexpensive model but gets the job done. You absolutely need one of these if you want to use flexwatt with a tub.
