I absolutely refuse to name ANY of my pythons Monty.

Boas on the other hand are made for corny names.

Boa Derrik, Boa Dicea, Boa Diddley, Boa Jackson, Sonny Boa-no, Little Boa peep, Humphrey Boa-gart, Lots of fun to be had in naming boas.

I would never call a python monty, absolutely no imagination in that name, just like fluffy the bunny, or spike the bearded dragon. Everyone wants to call my beardie spike and I cant stand it. My beardies name is Nitro.

It seems Monty and Cain are really common. I'll stick with famous leaders or foreign words for "Royal" If my next one is a male, the list of names I have are Alexander, Atilla, Hannibal, and Ceasar. Females will be Catharine, Cleopatra, Nefertiti, or Joan of Arc.

I started laughing when I saw that boa list and came up with a few more. Now I need to get some to use the names.

    1) Boa-no (from U2)
    2) Boaner
    3) Crossboa
    4) Bilboa Baggins
    5) Rocky Balboa
    6) Ramboa
    7) Oboa
    8) Tae-boa
    And my favorite...
    9) Boa J. Simpson

I think my name gives it away...
When we took in local rescues.. we went with ball names .
such as Base ball python, football, ping pong, ben wa, foose, musket...
