    Some babies shedding, finally

I have 2 clutches that hatched out at the end of April and mid May. Some babies have started shedding, and my keeper boy especially is glowing now that he shed.

    keeper male post shed

A not keeper male post shed and big poo

And my runt, who has not yet shed, but is growing nicely

The runt after hatching (after cutting the cord that had wrapped tightly around her). She was only 30 g.

Hmm. I used to use Picasa to host my photos, and it's no longer available. I tried Google photos, but the first pics don't show up if I am on my phone. I need to switch hosting and redo this...

Okay, I can't edit, but here are the pics again from a different photo hosting site. Sorry if you can already see them on the first post. They just don't seem to display everywhere.
    keeper post shed

    Different male, post shed

Runt, not yet had first shed.

and one that wasn't posted in my first attempt that shed overnight. This one is from the second clutch, with a mom who is more of a bright pink-red color, so the babies are lighter. All of my babies, to varying extents, became stained from coco chips. You could really notice it between the scales in the yellow areas. That's one of the reasons I've been really looking forward to the first sheds. Over time I went from coco chips to a finer cypress, and back to good old newspaper for ease of cleaning. Everyone's happily chowing on FT rat pups anyway.

Little Popeye (male, pet only due to an eye deformity) pre-shed and stained.

His little eye with no pupil

    Post shed

Funny about the coco chips-I remember you wanting these guys to shed all that dye color off. That keeper is really nice. Odd about the no pupil one, he's a looker too, should have no problem finding a good pet home for him.

Well, I can't really ship to Canada... I prefer local especially if they are meant to be pets.
