The damp moss will wick onto anything it touches. I would make a dedicated humid hide if you feel the need for one. I usually put them on the warm end.

Usally on the warm side. You could make one out out a Rubbermaid style container. By cutting a hole on the side or top. And placing a folded paper towel on the bottom, and filling the rest with damp sphagnum moss. Or filling the hide with damp sphagnum moss. And yes like the previous post states the moisture will wick to what ever it touches. If you need more detail, just ask.
Well i seen a diy one. A made one for her with a plastic bottom and stuffed it with moss. I guess my concern is with her laying in it while she sheds. It wont cause her scale rot? She already has a mild case of it that she was at the vet for. Very mild. But her last shed that was less then a month ago was horrible she was extremely under fed. So i want this shed to be a good one. But should i be concerned?
