    Dorks?

First thing I want to say is I love my BP's. But I've noticed the each one is their own special kind of dork. They each do the dorkiest things and make me laugh every day (except the days after feeding day, they just sleep then). Was just wondering if anybody else had dorky snakes.

We've got a couple that only seem to be comfortable in the most uncomfortable positions - between walls and water dishes, halfway in and out of hides, jammed into one corner of the tub - and before we switched to aspen, we were using paper for the medium tubs, and one of the carpets would hide under the paper just to poke her head up over the top like she was tucked into bed.

    Re: Dorks?

My BEL has a cold hide that is a half log pressed against the back wall. He will slither onto it, pry his head in-between the log and wall and enter into the hide from the top rear instead of just going into the front like most normal snakes.

My big, fat angel was put into a large tupperware yesterday to test out a hide I purchased, and she inspected the corners by smearing her little face down them and then turning her head almost upside-down before realizing she couldn't escape. So she curled into the hide and said, "FINE!"

I seem to find that ball pythons are just...bad at snaking.

My little guy tries burrowing into my shorts/shirt, he also likes to crawl up my chest and just look at me.

I have one who's freaked out by the hair on my arms. He wants nothing to do with crawling on or over my arms.

I notice mine doesn't mind the arm hair, but my leg hair he wants no part of lol. If I'm wearing shorts he'll only stay on the shorts an not go to my calf lol.
