    Dinosaurs! :)

I was in a very dinosaury mood today!!! So I got out some sculpey and some paints and went to town. The result? Dinosaur keychains FTW!!!

First! The most recent. Sauropod! Yey. I like the dots on him, but they weren't quite enough. Please forgive the bad quality of lighting. (I need a light box...)

Now my favorite!! He's attached to my keychain now. And I think I'll wear him attached to my belt loops, too. *grin* For decoration. He makes me happy.

Pyroraptor Olympius! (Or, at least, one vaguely based off of...)

My favorite pic. Shows the chain, too!

    Thanks,
    Sen

clever use of feathers on that raptor there. you might even consider doing some kind of quill type attachments out of stiff plastic "grass" or similar. I'd go with the kind they use in silk floral arrangements. just a thought

just woke up, not many dinosaurs come to mind...but I could see you using the quills for like crest decoration or have dorsal spikes similar to an iguana or something lol.

I was looking more dinosaur species up, and I found some which would work. It's a good idea!

I was just thinking about pterodactyls and what not. you might be able to use pieces of plastic for the thinner parts like the wings. I keep all the leftover plastic from my mouse and rat bins...lol. would just have to get a "form" and put it in the oven for a little bit until the plastic starts to warp and then mold it into the form.

I was also thinking you could use the same method for making "armor"...since I'm kind of a sci-fi guy myself...cyborg dinosaurs appeals to me lol.
