Re: How to Produce a Piebald?
You need a pair of piebalds or at least a pair that carry the pied gene (which is a genetically recessive trait) in order to reproduce one of your own.

Here's a great site to help you understand the genetics involved in breeding BP morphs. It's just basic stuff and there's tons more to learn but it's a good starting point.

Re: How to Produce a Piebald?
For simple terms...
You must use parents that carry the piebald gene. If they look normal and carry the piebald gene, they are called "hets" for piebald.
Or you can use a piebald with a "het" to produce more piebalds. But the only way is to use animals that carry that gene.
And "het"s can carry other recessive genes like albino, so make sure you are getting piebald carriers if you decide to use "het" snakes rather than simply buying a piebald. The breeding for getting one is a long process, taking up to 3 years or more(if you buy babys). So in the long run, it may be cheaper and easier to simply buy a piedbald snake, rather than trying to breed your own.
Hope this helps.

Re: How to Produce a Piebald?
Here are your odds:
Pied to Pied:
All Pieds
Pied to het Pied:
1/2 Pieds
1/2 het Pieds
Het Pied to het Pied:
1/4 Pieds
1/2 het Pieds
1/4 Normals

I think we're going the cash route for now! Instant gratification... but then we're going to make our own (we have het pied male of a breeding age and a baby het pied female).
