    Feeding during shed.

Hey guys, I was just wondering if people still feed there ball pythons when going thru the shed cycle. I was just curious because I just began defrosting a rat and then realized after that my snakes in shed. Normally I avoid feeding when I see this but i dont want to waste the rat. Do you think she will even go for it?
Maybe Ill try to record it.

yup, let them decide wether they want to eat or not. my will eat no matter wether in shed or not. you can refreeze the feeder if it was not out too long. dont refreeze it more than once.
Racing... because baseball, basketball, football and soccer only use one ball.

I feed mine on schedule even while in shed, most will eat but a few won’t.

It varies from one animal to another so all you can do is try to find out what will happen.

when i feed during a shed, i percent the tank, since they usually are a little bit blind during a shed. sent and heat are the two main factors that will get them to go. this will usually always work, presenting that is. another trick is to dip it in almost boiling water then give it a dangle about 4-6 inches in front of your BP they usually take it every time. I only feed frozen when my guy is shedding just because he doesn't seem to be as active as when he is not. other wise he prefers live and i find my self coaxing him by presenting and or the hot water trick each time i feed pre-killed.
