We have another that is very light, while this one remains very very dark. He colors up soo much when food is around.

    Re: Finally

The local fish store I just bought my Tiger Oscar from has some unreal looking Neon Blue JDs. I wanted to pick one up to put in the tank with my oscar, but I didn't wanna spend that kind of money on a fish that I may have to get rid of if the Oscar gets too aggressive with him...

Nice JD Pat! I'll have to post some pics of my fish when I can get some good ones...

    Beautiful Jack,
Love the dark almost black color and wonderful blue speckling.
Looks just like my Diablo, only my boy has a very bright red stripe along the top of his dorsal fin.

Pat I thought I saw a red devil in there that is my favorite. But I don't think your blood parrot will survive as the red will undoubtedly rule the tank and not let any other fish swim in the middle of your tank. They will interact with you and ram the tank sometimes!

    Re: Finally

Actualy the Red Devil and Parrot have been mating, and getting along just fine.

They made a nest and have been doing the "dance"

I had to read up on parrots and learn that they are a hybrid of the Red Devil and Midas. So I was not as shocked to see them breeding as I once was.

They have been going for about 6 months, and have not had one injury. I even added a smaller parrot, and they seem to get a long GREAT!

I had my worries on the Jaguar "Manguense" They are usually pretty intense. But this little guy is pretty laid back.
