did this snake also regurge recently? I thought I remembered something about that.
Sorry man....that really sucks.
I'd hesitate to blame the mite stuff right off the bat since you've had problems with this animal since you got him (unless I am confused)

Re: I think my burmese just died in its hands
Does the mite spray specify that it's safe to spray directly on the snake? And am I reading right that you bathed it in the spray in a deli cup?

Re: I think my burmese just died in its hands
If it was IN the deli cup with the mite stuff - it may very well have been poisoned by the fumes, sadly. That's why we're always strongly recommending that people follow directions on any mite treatment to the letter!
I'm sorry for your loss! One reason why I keep Provent A Mite on hand at all times - it's been tested safe for snakes, and you treat the enclosure and not the snake.

By placing it in the deli cup with the "mite stuff", do you mean you closed it in the cup to inhale, ingest whatever mite spray you were using?
I'm very sorry for your loss.

Re: I think my burmese just died in its hands
Im not trying to be rude here, but...
....WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU THINKING?!?!?!
This is entirely your fault. You claim to have asked advice here about the mites, and i PROMISE you, no one said to leave it in a damn deli cup with mite proventative.
I cannot even begin to describe how assinine your actions were, to get rid of those mites.
I cannot even be sympathetic, or sorry for you, not one bit.
You seemed like a smarter person than that in your previous posts, im quite shocked actually

Re: I think my burmese just died in its hands
Mite sprays can be VERY VERY toxic. It is best to read the label many times and ask people about it before using it, just to errr on the side of caution for this type of thing not to happen. I have to agree with Pat on this one... WTH were you thinking? Poor poor snake.
Also if you have any other snakes FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DO NOT AND I REPEAT DO NOT touch those snakes with that mite killer till you tell us just what kind/brand it is and if you have sprayed there enclosures/them with it then I'd be on my way with them to a er herp vet!
