Thats what I was hoping otherwise you would be over run soon.
Nice looking breeders though. Your females look about as big as ours. We dont have any of the albino ones yet. I have found them but they are charging 20 bucks a rat for them. To me its just not really worth it.. So the only odd color I have is black and gray brindling with white.

    Connie,
I think you may be surprised with your "pinks", because all the ones we have produced are born with hair. Not completely covered in it, but they look funny not being completely bald.

p.s. I meant to comgratulate Amy and Jamie on their newest rodent project. Have fun with them, I love ours. They are great animals, and a joy to work with and watch. Also, we have had a plastic water bottle in with the small group we have in an aquarium for about a year now, and they have never chewed it up.

Thanks Tim! Seeing how the picky eaters took to them and how little smell they produce it was a no brainer to get a small colony going. The water bottles are in a metal guard which protects the bottom. We'll see if they chew them up!

    Re: New ASF Project!

Have fun with them. I was told they where bad biters but I have only gotten one bite from them and it was from a VERY pregnant female as I was picking out some to feed to my snakes. I would put a wheel in their cages. I have one in each one of mine and they used it ALL the time. Helps them burn off the extra energy and they don't chew as much. Oh one word of note they can JUMP and will jump. I have already lost two (one my cat caught and one my dog caught) to excapes Good luck and have fun
