    Ball Python Rescue

I was hoping someone could help me find a ball python rescue that's reputable. I live in Chicago but would be willing to travel some if anyone knows of a good rescue. I'm dying and I need to find a reputable place to re home my collection in the next month or two. I just want to make sure that they find a good home before I pass.

    Thanks everyone,
    Sean

If I think of more, I'll add later, but this one came to mind- it's still not exactly "next door" to you, but they might be willing to make a trip, all you can do is explain & ask.

Have you contacted these folks? https://chicagoherp.org/ This is where I'd start.

Have you inquired at the nearest large city zoos- reptile section- or contacted any local herp vets for suggestions? I'm well aware that zoos do not want a bunch of BPs but they have staff that may personally be interested or know of someone. You need to do some networking.

Even just regular vet offices may have people they know that would be interested. Ditto for regular animal shelters too. I'd make calls & do the best you can to verify qualifications (reputations). I'm not anywhere close to your state- these suggestions are just off the top of my head.

Have you tried listing them on Morph Market? As a package deal, or maybe split up into a couple of packages that make sense together genetically?

Snake Discovery in Minnesota takes surrenders and adopts them out (not sure how close that is to you). I don't know if they would be able to take a large collection, but they might have some resources for you.
