    Cool side

Been pairing my snakes. Now the female is staying on the cool side. Put the male back in and no interest in breeding from either the way it looks. So what is going on

I don't breed BPs but I just noticed no one has answered you yet. I think you've answered your own question anyway- they're not interested, at least not at this time. Not much information for anyone to tell you why, but it could be many things, even that they were sexed incorrectly. Snakes of either gender also stay on the cool side when going into a shed, when too warm, or when they're not feeling right, so it may have nothing to do with breeding anyway.

I agree. If they aren't interested, they aren't interested.
Is this your first time breeding? I know you asked about the cool side before...

Have you seen them lock in the past? Has the female ovulated already? Is she going into shed?

It really can be anything for right now. Just observe and see.
Either she lays or she reabsorbs if she's refusing to lock.

As Bogertophis mentioned as well... Other reasons can be why as well so make sure temps and humidity are correct.

Also, ball pythons can breed year round, so this timeline isn't the end all, be all... What to watch out for is the ovy and pre lay shed.

They have locked. Been introducing since November. I don't know if she ovulated. My first time. She had a shed couple weeks ago

Well. If she's still on the cool side and recently had shed, she most likely hasn't ovulated...unless your temps are too warm.

If she stops eating in the next couple of weeks and looks like she ate a big meal or a small football, then that's your ovy.
How big are the male and female in question? If she's on the younger/smaller side she might not even ovulate and that may be why she's refusing to now. If the male is too young and producing slugs that could be another issue too

    Re: Cool side

She is around 4 and 2000 plus grams. After her shed it's been 28 days. No eggs yet. Last night she was wrapped around her hide today she is in the water Dish
